Privacy Policy

This policy explains, without unnecessary legalese, what data get a live collects, why it collects it, who it shares it with and how you control all of it. It follows Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018, the LGPD).

1. Who looks after your data

get a live is the controller of the personal data processed on this site. For any privacy matter, including exercising your rights, contact us at oi@getalive.appmaster.com.br. This is also the channel of our data protection officer (DPO).

2. What data we collect

  • Account data: name and email (required to sign up) and password, which we only store in encrypted form (hash).
  • Sign in with Google: if you choose to sign in with Google, we receive from Google your name, email, profile picture and an account identifier. We don’t receive your Google password or access to your other data.
  • Account usage: templates you favorited and downloaded, with the date of the last download.
  • Account activity history: while you are logged in, we record, with date and time, what happens in your account: sign-up, logins and logouts, login attempts with a wrong password, password reset requests and changes, profile changes, templates favorited and downloaded, template requests and the pages of the site you visit. For access, security and download events we also store the IP address and the type of browser and system (for example, “Chrome on Windows”). This history can only be seen by the site’s administrators.
  • Requests: the content you send in the template request form (idea, description, styles, scenes, platforms and reference links).
  • Consent record: date, source (form or Google) and version of the policy accepted at sign-up, plus a code derived from your IP that cannot be used to identify the original address.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and pages visited, logged by the server for security and abuse prevention.
  • Cookies: see the Cookies section.

3. What we use it for and on what legal basis

  • Creating and maintaining your account, enabling downloads and favorites: performance of a contract (art. 7, V).
  • Responding to your template requests: performance of a contract and preliminary steps at the data subject’s request (art. 7, V).
  • Protecting the site against fraud, spam and attacks: legitimate interest (art. 7, IX), always with the minimum data needed.
  • Keeping the account activity history, to detect unauthorized access and abuse (such as a hacked account or automated downloads), look into problems you report to us and audit the use of the site: legitimate interest (art. 7, IX). The history is used only for this: it is not used for advertising or to build behavioral profiles, and it is not shared with third parties.
  • Usage statistics and marketing: consent (art. 7, I), which you give or refuse in the cookie notice and can withdraw at any time.
  • Complying with legal obligations, such as keeping the access logs required by Brazil’s Internet Civil Framework, the Marco Civil da Internet (art. 7, II).

4. Who we share it with

We don’t sell your data. We only share what is necessary with:

  • Google, only if you use “Sign in with Google”, to authenticate your account. Google’s processing follows Google’s privacy policy.
  • Hosting and email providers, which store the site and deliver messages such as the password reset email.
  • Statistics and marketing tools, only if you allow them in the cookie notice.
  • Authorities, when there is a legal obligation or a court order.

Some of these providers may store data outside Brazil. In those cases, the transfer follows art. 33 of the LGPD, with providers that offer adequate protection guarantees.

5. How long we keep it

  • Account, favorites and downloads: as long as the account exists. When you delete your account, this data is erased.
  • Requests: kept without any link to you (anonymized) after the account is deleted, because they are part of the site’s history of ideas.
  • Account activity history: 12 months; older records are deleted automatically. If you delete your account, the history is erased immediately.
  • Access logs: 6 months, as required by the Marco Civil da Internet.
  • Cookie choices: 12 months; after that, we ask again.

6. Your rights

Under the LGPD (art. 18), you can, at any time:

  • confirm whether we process your data and access it, including your account’s activity history;
  • correct incomplete or outdated data (your name can be edited directly in My account → Profile);
  • request anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data;
  • request data portability;
  • delete your account and the data linked to it (in My account → Privacy, without having to talk to anyone);
  • find out who we share your data with;
  • withdraw the consent given for optional cookies;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest, such as the activity history, if you believe it doesn’t comply with the LGPD;
  • file a complaint with Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).

For any other request, write to oi@getalive.appmaster.com.br. We reply within 15 days.
